This southern African country boasts some of the best wildlife on the continent, and indeed some of the best hunting in the world. Doma Safaris areas are situated mostly on the edge of the magnificent Zambezi valley escarpment and bounded by vast and uninhabited wildlife reserves; the areas boast some of the most spectacular countryside, African wildlife, and diversity of species, providing real and unforgettable safari experiences.

Nestled in a natural amphitheater of hills overlooking a picturesque dam our home base, Doma Safari Lodge, is right in the wilds of the African bush but just three hours drive north of the capital city Harare provides all the comforts of home. Each private, brick-under-thatch lodge has its own spectacular view, with en-suite bathroom and living area. All lodges have generated electricity and back-up lighting.

Whilst hunters are on the chase guided by their host / professional hunter, non-hunting members of the party have the option of relaxing in camp or going on a wide variety of excursions with their own qualified guide. These could include: photographic drives, shopping trips to curio markets, special interest trips to local villages to visit with the local communities and observe the richness of the local cultures & historic sites as well as taking advantage of the boating, fishing, wing shooting, photographic activities, swimming pool, catered bar, library and internet facilities, or the truly wild African experience of spending nights out in our remote bush camps. All this provides a host of diversions for all interests.

Doma Safaris is able to take advantage of the many diverse areas we have, from our home in the Lower Doma Conservation Area to the famous Save`Valley concessions in the south, from the mighty Zambezi valley and Lake Kariba in the North to other select hunting and photographic areas around the region, in order to tailor make a safari experience, just the way you want it.
